It has been a long time since I have done any artwork. I have been working my furry little tail off, both at college and at Home Depot where I earn green paper that seems to pay for things... Summer break is a month old for me by now, but I'm just getting around to relaxing and thinking about doing artwork again. It honestly has been nearly two to three years since I have done any artwork (do I even remember how?). So, I have driven myself crazy looking for my Wacom tablet this past week. Turns out it was under my bed with the dust bunnies and wrapping paper. The thing that has inspired me to return to art is a novel that I have been playing

This year I am working on bringing my character Lishaminu to life. So far I have foam for her horns, and I am working on getting patterns, or directions to make patterns for ears and her tail. Having a hard time finding the right fur to make her though. I am hoping to be able to wear her out for Halloween, even if it means fudging the bodysuit a bit. I'm also working to help Rob (a very close friend from work) to make stuff for his character. His is a two tailed wolf/dragon crossbreed. Also, I am hoping to get accurate references uploaded for them - especially Lish, since her look has changed so much lately.

I have finally filed the paperwork for my divorce. All there is now is waiting for the court system. I have also recently received a new laptop for my birthday (it was an early present). I have my art programs transferred to the new machine and I am starting to work on drawings and learning the ins and outs of using photoshop and sai to create digital artwork. So far I am more familiar with photoshop, but I love the color selection tool from sai... I am going to be attending college full time for fall semester and hopefully spring as well. With luck I would only have one semester left after that to finish my business degree and then I can fin
